  1. Thanks Mottfish! I ventured down Sunday just gone with kids in tow so couldn't fish. Looked ok thou. Ssw baliff and apperently you just buy a ticket on the bank £5 for the bottom lake or £10 for the top lake. Gonna give it a go this Friday I hope looks too good not too.
  2. Thanks guys. Rudd/Bream may be right on the mark. Picture on camera phone, so not brilliant. The flank was golden but I had't heard of Rudd/Bream hybrid half as much as a Roach/Bream hybrid so never gave it a fault. Thanks all, It always a bonus to catch something different like this, keeps you going back.
  3. Caught this on bread flake on my local river, Have most species in the river , Carp,Roach,Rudd,Bream,Dace,Tench . He was a nice fish weighing in at 4lb. It cant be a pure Roach at that weight, my bet would be on a roach/Bream hybrid. If anyone could let me know what they recon , would be grateful. Thanks C
  4. That is a nice one! Still yet to have the pleasure of one yet myself!
  5. Has anyone fished Ham Green lake in Pill Bristol recently? It a place where I went once over 20 years ago now. I heard rumours of the fish all dying and the farmer refussing access via his land. Read a bit online but the only info I could get was 5 years old and back then they only mentioned that carp were to be had in the carp lake even thou its looks unfishable due to the vast amount of lillies.
