the mods are here for my use only ,elton has had to bring in a couple more since i joined to get round the clock coverage
compared to some american sites the language and subject are very laid back (although on a american site suggesting that surcumscission for non medical grounds was child abuse and called a troll and banned :confused: ) a case of its ok if your on their side
foreigners why not ,if they posted in their own language they wouldnt get a reply ,at least english is a international language (and some foreigners fish as well )

i think we have used technology to the wrong ends (ok we started it). being secular? has its good points ,i.e if america`s stock market falls ours follows and the companies investing suffer.
most of our wars concern foreigners ,were either helping them kick an invader of their land or kicking them off ours :mad: rarely do we get help from THEM when were in trouble (ok america does but at a price
)
foreign aid ,we send tons of clothing etc to poor countries ,they say "blimey if they can just chuck these clothes away they must be rich ,lets go there" this is how we get the immigration problem.

multi nationals exploit people for money (i`n not an anti ,i like cheap goods too) once "made in england " then "made in DDR" then "made in TW" now "made in china" as people standard of living rises (because of the investment) then the companies go elsewhere ,leaving the people surviving in a country where the cost of living is far higher to where it was before they were exploited.at the way its going "made in england" could again be the sign of a third world country

yes being secular is good ,i remember as a kid playing in the road on a sunday,for two reasons ,cars were expensive ,and if you owned a car there was nowhere to go ,church was the only 24/7 then

the so called "flawed history" is in fact fact ,nearly all countries have had their own versions of saddams crimes ,all have invaded other countries ,most in some way have tried their best to exterminate a foe using weapons of mass distruction
,ethnic cleansing was quite popular in the past in the so called civilised countries ,beside tasmania ,jews were forbidden (under threat of death) to live in england for almost 400 years ,religeous ferver was prevelent ,we tried to cleanse catholics ,catholics waged war on england the only flaw in this it happened over the last thousand years ,not in saddams reign.
as stated in mr annans ? statement today the answer IS the isreali/palestine problem ,removing saddam will not take the problem away just give isreal a little more room to breath.
mr bush`s speach was very good ,no mention of the past gung ho stuff ,but instead cleverly manouvered the un into a empass over its own mandates ,mr bush clearly stated the signed agreements and how they were broken and insisted the un take action over them.
if the un take on iraq for breaking the rules then surely other broken mandates should be enforced in the case of other countries that have also broken them .if this is not the case then the arab world will still see saddam as being picked on.
i dont think there is much evidence to back up mr bushes facts ,people who have defected will probably not tell the truth i.e

i would hardly think he would respond with

implausable yes, it would be a case of the first plane back home ,its in the intrest of the defector to provide incriminating stuff the more he gives the more the chance of being given western goodies it matters not a jot to him if its true or untrue the more he speaks the more he gets.
the pictures showing iraq rebuilding its resourses are misinterpritations(or damn lies) (the picture of the nuclear power station? being rebuilt was infact proved wrong by news men ) saddam is not a fool he knows america has eyes in the sky ,if he`s building its under the cities not in the middle of the dessert for all to see,we cannot blindly raise to the ground complete cities to get to them ,the lives lost would be crinimal.

my first double was at horton kirby in the sixties ,i went from about 3oz`s to 18lbs in one jump ,most of the anglers came round to see this monster (we didnt know most of the time what the general size of fish in the lake were) i think at the time i had a mention in the news of the world (not very good umberella prize) fishing in those days was a bit hit or miss (nowadays catching the biggest known fish in a pond is more or less a weekly event) i know the 39lb cat in my local pond has had more pictures in the angling press than the editor
i remember catching a 5lb tench in the same lake which took as i was putting the rod down ,i could not fathom the reason the penny kept falling off
for a while (i may have got the umbrella for that i cant remember) but a five lb tench was a specimin then ,nowadays both fish would be nuscience fish stopping the angler getting to "blind bill" or "splitty" or whatever the pet name of the big boys are
both were taken on sausage meat ,the killer "in" bait at the time
i still haven broken the 30 barrier yet theve been close but i still have a few years yet

probably the reason the swan population has declined on some rivers is because of the rise in swan "sanctuaries" after all a daily free feed is always better than grubbing around in dirty old river beds.
lead shot and its poison will be around for hundreds of years ,i detected an old pond that was being refurbished the banks were just one big signal (lead ,silver paper etc) and once dredged the lake bed was the same ,yes we know now thats its poisonus ,but our predecssors didnt know or more likely care ,our defence is now its non toxic
unfortunatly nowadays not a defence (as in the case of asbestos ) that counts ,yes swans will die because of lead ,but thousands will live because of improved water conditions( usually because of angling pressure) .

saddam can use his weapons against any one he chooses ,all he has to do is declare war on them or say the country harbours terrorists bent on outing him (self defence),infact the same reasons we can use ours ,hopefully like the brits he wont use them knowing what the outcome would be ,its called the nuclear deterrent and it works both ways ,whats sauce for the goose etc
he knows what the outcome of using weapons of mass distruction would be ,his country reduced to a molton mass of sand ,but in the end its still his choice ,anybody with the right ingrediants can make a "dirty" nuke ,the best place to make it would be within the country targetted .we have the technology to detect incoming missiles ,no-one can detect a lone bomber inside their own borders .probably by now we have several thousand potential bombers living under the guise of " immigrants" all they need is the materials and a reason and watch the fireworks ,best thing we can do is not give them a reason
the best way to silence the arabs would be to sort the israel / palestine issue ,put the isreal borders back to the 1948 size (by all means let the israelis build there own "berlin" wall ,when the israel matter is solved the arab states at the moment siding with saddam will again favour the west and mr hussain will be out on his own again.if were so het up against countries supporting terrorism ,then one of them to look at is america ,the american irish have been funding the ira for years and ofcourse there is another saying "those of you who are innocent cast the first stone" i am sure we and america will be at the end of the list as stone chuckers
i think you think i am on the arabs side ,i am not ,i am showing the other side of the coin ,i would leap with joy if the far east started chucking bombs at each other ,infact even better would be the annialation of all foreigners ,i fail to see there use ,so no bias or discrimination from me no racist comments no religeouse reteric ,kill em all

cuba has had a naval blockade for thirty years because they MAY have been given nukes by the reds ,america filled europe with the things.

yep the normans won by default our lot had just kicked the ass of a far more dangerouse aponanant up north ,then had to rush down to deal with the normans
had they come a month earlier when we were ready french people would be speaking english (again)

young county councillors excepted ,maybe the leaders of the concerned countries should fight ,axes would be good ,like the good old days ,we should be able to muster 30,000 so called polititions and their councillor stooges ,should be very entertaining ,a way for the people to see them earning their inflated wages ,their recently enhanced retirement funds and bupa cover should come in handy

better still buy two pairs of waders thigh length for the inner ones ,these should be taped to the thighs using gaffa tape the inners will keep your legs dry whilst the outers (i recondmend chest waders) will house the offending matter for several weeks ,the methane produced from the fermentation could be used to power a blow lamp for bankside painstripping or just to heat your food thus ensuring a healthy bio renewable source of power ,also in case of falling in the lake the trapped gas would act as a bio bouancy aid (unfortunatly youl be floating head down ,but a craftily sculpted jet could be made with an electric ignitor ,if you fall in ignite the jet and you will be safely rocketed back to the safety of terra fima

i would insist on "hand plucking" by yourself to verify the age ,also checking that the hairs in question arn`t tampered with and free from unatural colourants ,i was once ripped off by a blond woman who insisted that the removal was done under the cover of darkness and to ensure the catching power of the intended fly was 100% it had to be in an ally way amounst foul smelling dustbins,on examining my haul in the clear of daylight realised she was an undercover common or garden mousey brown ,on insisting on a refund the following night i was acosted by a large brown chap with gold teeth and a nose dribble ,his hair was total unsuitable but on ironing i managed to tie some reasonable floaters
