  1. i used to enjoy haggling over the price and waving a bunch of notes in the sellers face (those were the days) now it is illegal to offer a discount on cash if you offer it on intrest free credit  credit is credit whatever they call it .also annoys me that phone boxes cost many times more to make a call although you are paying up front and there is a minimum charge of 20p

  5. i see that now there is "free" access to stonehenge it actually cost £100,000 i have a few questions

what was the cost of the police who were there for perhaps 12hrs work?

    how many police were there?

in years past there was a group of tens of thousands people there with no police at all

were they expecting graffity ? there is records of many famouse people scratching their names on the stones including a prime minister

what has it to do with druids?

what we see now is just a "reconstruction "of a structure without any basis in fact (no origanal plans)

if it belongs to US why do we need permission from a quango or clique to visit it in the first place?

what has it to do with strange people dressed in plants?

we dont know how old it is we dont know what it is for so what proof is there that the meeting there has any basis anyway

  7. having kept a goose for 25yrs i can say they will eat anything but prefer grass, an age old trick of catching ducks was to tie a piece of animal fat to a very long thin cord the ducks ate the fat and because of their physical makeup the fat travelled very fast through their system and was ejected the duck was then "tied" and could be reeled in :)

  9. i feel no sorrow ,they should all be sacked from the highest to the lowest bootboy ,i am sure their job description says WIN ,also i am annoyed with brazil for not having 10 more players sent off and giving our losers MORE of a chance to at least draw ,bunch of posers all of them ,their game consisted of taking dives at every tackle hoping for a free kick or penalty .footballers NOT

hopefully now that were out the bbc wont waste anymore money showing or reporting the rest of the games

  11. i go into the garden and the wind is from behind the house its a sign that the wind is into our face at our 2 local lakes ,we rarely go then as we tend to occupy the same swims at each lake .

  13. i once watched from my bedroom window a heron chasing a rat in the middle of a marshy field,it was very funny as the heron isnt the most gainly bird on its feet ,the chase went hither and thither for about 5 mins with the rat and heron in close combat with the rat jumping up and down, in the end it was the heron that won ,till then i didnt realise they ate them :D
