Im looking to swap my Preston Space Station + Shuttle for: Preston X3 Preston X4 any other offers are welcome but would like a quick deal. (live in Northamptonshire) reason for sale: to big for me i only just past me driving test and i cant fit it well in my car so would like a smaller one. The Box: basic draws with it will put some bits with it e.g side tray and double ripple bar. tidy box, few scrachs on blue paint due to putting in car but neat box, always be looked after and washed as soon as i got home from fishing.

The best help for you is to get a book called fox's guide to commercial fisherys. its a life saver. £11.99 but you have load of tips on pole fishing aswell as anything else. so look on the net for it or in a local tackle shop. but trust me its well worth it

I see what some of you are saying about walk away, but i would find that hard when ive worked hard to get the gear. i serpose if i was heavly out numbered and there was no chance i donno i may have a crack or not, its hard to tell ive never been in that sort of situation. but being fairly young myself and do have to deal with the 'yobish' gangs around, i have found if you target the biggest, and knock him on his arse the rest will follow. becuase all they are is followers, but make sure if your going to follow through you take him down fast and hard. becuase at the end of the day i see it as if they get away with it one time, whats gonna stop them from trying it again.

Im 17 and have spend more than i should on gear (alot). and when i go out to my local commercial i used to feel uneasy and had to go with a mate, but now ive been going on my own intill late even through the site is RIGHT next to a pedunkle camp. I see it as if someone wants to mug me then there going to have to get through a ass wooping with a 3m landing net and a steal toe capped boot lol. so for me its no a problem. and for the person who said about the wild bore, well the other day i was packing up me seat box, i looked round and theres 3 stray donkeys just stairing at me, around 4-5 meters away lol. i truly wonder how long they have been there. I have had one inncedent with someone stealing my kit. it was on a lake that was not controlled, and it was just then (3 lads and 2 girls) and me and my mate the other end. it was pitch black when we got there and had to set up about a hour into fishing the two girls came round wanting a chat (later we found out that the were coming round to cheack out what gear we had). then after catching a few we packed up and put our rods against the tent and went to bed. the next day woke up they were gone and 2 rods and 2 reels were gone (and this was about 8 in the morning). so the next day (still on holiday from school at this point) we went back at around 3. and there they were same tent and 2 more groups around the lake so we went up and was talking to them (they didnt see our facing the night before nether did we, but we reconised the tent) and i looked rod and there was my rod and rest sitting on his rest. i asked "thats a nice rod where did you get it" he replyed "got it for errrm christmas" then well i could tell you the rest but put it this way they left early with more than just dumb looks on there face's. (and i did get the rods back). so my advice is to watch for what people are doing when your night fishing, and make sure your gear is surcure (its better to be safe than sorry) i was just lucky they came back.

i have a problem my space station and shuttle will not fit in my car that im getting (got my test it a week) and anyway i have to sell to get a x3 (that will fit). Heres the thing i need help on: how much will i get for a space station thats around 4 months old or less and that has the shuttle with it and a few bits with it ect. double ripple bar and (if i can find them) pole rests. theres abit of surface rust (as in i've washed it and let it dry) around the lever pins (only abit of brown lol) so what do you think, whats it worth?

Yes it does alot. under the drag nut at the moment there is a black lining of something i dont know what, and where, how did you find the cork part (did you make it yourself?

well what i mean is that the knob on the front of the reel has to be ether full on tight or realy loose. never in the middle, becuase when the knob on the front is tightend that fraction more then when the reel is spun quite fast the knob will move on its own and tightern itself up. is that any better explanation?

Well its only a miner thing but, The centrepin has a drag and rachet, the rachets fine its just the drag i dont like. when the drag is almost tight (on the egde) with the spin of the reel the drag locks it self up. has anyone had this problem happen to the or knows how to fix it? Realy what im saying is its ether all or nothing with this reel. and other than that its a smashing bit of kit.
