what length of tail would you suggest when bream are biting very shy and what bait worm or maggot;cocktail

you don,t say what river you are fishing and how busey it gets what i do is walk the river asking what fish are being caught and with what bait what i do is use a dropper to put hemp then fish with the hook bait of my choice hope this helps

thanks for that have you had any other fish there like bream barbel because i saw some ground bait bags when i was walking there also have you caught roach while fishing with bread

yes their would be but the biggest perch i have seen caught was on the thames at pagbroune they were huge are there big fish were you live

barney again has anyone fish marlow around by the lock i have had a look at it but never try it it looks very intresting so if any one has any info on it i would be grateful like how deep and what fish they have caught their

my name is barney i live in reading berkshire do most of my fishing around this area i use to macth fish but now just pleasure fish i like fishing for thames barbel, roach, bream, it can be good as the places i have fish don,t see much preasure as most fish for the carp i wonder if any members fish the thames as it would be good to have some new ideas i have live near the river aall my life use to fish the kennet a lot to use to get loads of chubb, roach, aand big dace in the newtown area of reading but sadley its not the same any more so if anyone would like achat about the thames or any were else i wiat to here from them cheers
