Stop slagging off a great angler that is now dead. I had the greatest pleasure meeting him and fishing with him and Maureen socially on the River Wye in Hereford. He was his own man. To him, how he was, how he fished, with emaculate tackle box layout, Polished wellingtons, was his style, he was an icon of his time. Respect a great Angler please.

you obviously are a clumsy angler if you put a kink in it, i have used it for over 40 years making minnow mounts for Herbert Hattons of Hereford and The Gun and Tackle shop in Gloucester. Having won both of the Pike Cups for 3 years on the trot while being a member of the Hereford and District Angling Club, also i have fished for Great Britain in sea angling, and i won the News of the World fly rod for one of the all time best catches of brown trout, so i think i know a thing or 2 when it comes to fishing. I have fished with Mr. Bernard Venables of the Mr Crabbtree fame. I have also loaded Prince Charles`s fly reel with backing and fly line.
