Turkish Crayfish are rife in my local river and in my local day ticket lakes. most if not all anglers hate them unless of course like me they eat them. I also use them for sea angling instead of peeler crabs.

I feel a pint coming on, as yet unable to do pm,s yup now moved to a small market town near Lowestoft cos of the River Waveney on my doorstep now. maybe we could meet for some bassing? pm me your mobile or home no we can have a chat

Took some Little S plugs and ondex spinners down to my local beach and had six schoolie Bass, behind me a bunch of twitchers were watching a Ring ouzel and a Wheatear so I ambled down to twitch both birds afore returning to catch no more Bass. The baited rod produced some baby Pout but as yet no Lobsters. Nice to be back after suffering a marriage breakdown and the big C. My first session since august 2007 and I was well chuffed with the results, Having to put your life on hold and fight for it with cancer made me realise that I must fish as much as I can. No more dilly dallying around just get the rods and fish. sooo nice to be back. C.

I see my fave angling weekly has returned to covering Sea Angling. At last I say! there is still plenty of fish to cath from the beach and with no licence fee to pay (As yet) what a healthy way to fish. It seems that the jobless are returning to hobbies now they have more time on thier hands so it looks as though sea angling has caught its breath again. I remember my local beaches being full of lamps from Lowestoft to Kessingland during the Whiting season. Well roll on the Bass Season now! Colin.

that was the problem with field farm fisheries at wrentham. Too many idiots lumping about and visitors standing behind you putting the fish off too. Looking forward to fishing the lakes at Beccles next week.

Hi just joined after three bad years of no fishing, looking to get back in the frame. My main places are the Waveney, Field Farm at Wrentham and the lakes at beccles near the railway line. any news on how these venues are fishing will be helpful as it has been a long tme since i fished them.
