hello , im from croatia , in our country perch is not a targeted species especialy on this small rivers , so i have found a spot in the woods where a small river Česma flows through , in this time of year the flow is really slow , with very weak undertow , especialy because the river gets a little wider and deeper in this spot . when im on the water on my left there is a submereged tree(a quite large one ) and the bank is quite high and steep the depth is form 2 to 3 meters posibly more in the main current , i figuered that the best time to fish would be at dawn since the sun rises behind me , and i caught several smaller perch on maggot and lobworm , so i wanted to ask u is it worthwile fishing this spot since there is a lot of other predators out there including chub , chrup, pike , catfish and posslily zander .. there are also really large shoals of sunbleak and minnow
i have to say that i red every article of the whole perchfishers group ( exept for Archie Braddock he's part wasnt available for free) , so any other advice would be apreciated
