If you work this place out it is simply awesome. I honestly reckon you could top 1000lb of fish a day here. I rarely fish full day sessions as its too easy once you find the method here.
Its is simply stuffed with bream and some decent sized one too and if found heavy drip feeding with corn at about 10 ft out will produce bites every 10-15 seconds on corn over a small bit of soft groundbait. Bream average around 2lb and quite a few 4-6lb mark so very easy to build a big weight very very quickly.
I've found meat tends to be a little better for picking out the crucians and tench and both go to a decent size if you can avoid the bream
Lots of carp other off the top ( follow the wind and fish into it ) and plenty on heavy float gear down in the margins. Found the margins especially good after heavy rain. Plenty of 20s and a good number of 30s. Don't be surprised to get 5-8 20s in an afternoon session with lots of mid to high doubles.
I reckon this is one of the best fisheries around only Holwell Hyde and Stanborough Lakes are up with Lake John and it seems quite consistently good unlike some places which can vary hugely.
