Hello all.. thats were my new reel comes in to play as i got an origanal stanton pre adcock stanton. its in mint condition and glides like a bird. also it twists round to allow casting. maybe stanton only made 1 or just a few every 1 i spoke to has never seen them b4 a true gem. leelaura44@hotmail.com email me ill send you some pics of it.

hello mate i have sent you the pictures and like you say yes it is the pre adcock reel as iv been to see cliff adcock and he says its the original stanton but hes never seen 1 as stanton never made the sidecast so its maybe a 1 off.? thanks for your help.

hi all i got this rare stanton centrepin fishing reel that i would be greatfull if any 1 could help me in telling me of its worth or any info about this please it has its original disk key and the foot of the reel twists so it can be a side cast. i have been to cliff adcocks (the maker of the former stanton adcock reel) today to show him and he says he has never ever seen 1 maybe just a few made??? i carnt add the image but its dark cast and 5"back plate with a 4"spool. the foot spins round to alow full casting mode.. please if you require my email is leelaura44@hotmail.com and ill send you the pics of it. thanks so much. regards lee
