  1. me and my freind are going fishing in swansea next week,been sea fishing once on a boat but never on the banks! anybody help with any tips on where abouts to fish and what baits much appreciate on advise as ive never done it tidy really!! i usually course fish but hopefully ill do both thanks for any help.
  2. no they definutly not real ones they come in all diffent colours and some have got a liquid in them?are they illegal then?
  3. its a powerbait they just little rubber type balls but you can get them with liquid or without, i tried the ones without and the trout love them but i bought the ones with liquid but i dont know the diffence with them,the yellow ones we had and we caught loads with them.
  4. do anybody know what the difference is if the salmon eggs have the liquid or not?

  7. im going fishing up the res saterday for some trout but debating whether to use powerbait any body know if its legal?
  8. im going fishing this afternoon with my new polarized glasses hopefully i made the write choice with the amber coloured ones and with a bit of luck il catch a couple of fish!!!!
  9. i bought a pair today actually they brill i only paid a tenner for them amber colour ones the make of them were rod. they do the trick
  10. thanks for that, thats what il try is the amber colour, i tried on this boys the other day when i went fishing and they were brilliant i could see straight through the water they were great fairplay,they were just a brown lense they were,thanks again.
  11. which is the best view to take the glaze off the water smoked or sandstone? i was looking on a website and i was going to get a pair an they give me a choice of the 2 but i dont know what ones would be better anybody know?

  14. thanks for the info, so thats the trick is it,throw out smaller pellets than the hooked pellet? ye just a ledger with a band holding the pellet on. like i said its the first time for me to use them so i dont know a lot about them, i caught them fish on a single 1 can u put more on or does it matter?
  15. caught my first fish of the season yesterday 2 carp,the 1 was 4 pound and the other 1 was 7 pound, the bait i used was 6mm pellets which i have never used before ,so im not to sure whether that if you use a bigger pellet does that mean a bigger fish? anybody with more info please
  16. orite butt what bait do you use for carp at this time of the year?
  17. do the carp feed through the winter season because i went fishing yesterday and it was really dead not even a sniff!!!! i seen this bloke and he reckons they start to settle down round about this time of year? surely they still need to feed tho?
  18. thats what im going to do next week go a bit later in the afternoon,ye they prob have seen to much bread thats all we fish on for floating so hopfully il catch a few this time
  19. i went fishing yesterday and was on floating bread crust all day and ada a few sucks but that was about it, i threw a few dog biscuits out in the reeds and i couldnt beleive it,they attracted so many carp it was unbeleivable this was about 5pm is it true that carp start to feed better round bout that time or was it just the biscuits??? i was gutted i couldnt stay longer but i had my misses on my case haha!!!!!!!

  21. i bought a pack of chickpeas the other day for fishing dont know what to do now because they are solid,do i leave them as they are or soak them in water any advise please?
