  1. I have been using ultima power carp for most of this season and can say it is excellent in every way . It does say on the spool that it needs soaking in water for about an hour before you load it onto the reels and i have done this so it has never gone all coiled up on me I have found that the abraision resistance is very good in fact better than anything else i have used, i have not had to strip damaged line of at all, like i would do after every two or three sessions on sensor for instance. It sinks better than anything else i have used and seem to cast fine for me, I have been using it in 12lb that means it's breaking strain is 14lb so just right for what i do . I would personally go for it again ,i wanted krystonite as that is supposed to be the best but this was much cheaper and i feel like it was money well saved. It does seem to be very hard to see in the water but my one niggle is that it does need cleaning as it picks up the colour of the lake bed . Briliant for hookb lengths too .
  2. Layers pellet s . I use it for my boilies or with CSL liquid and soaked for the method feeder works well and very cheap .
  3. Thanks Elton just what I needed .
  4. Hi I have just joined this forum but can't seem to make it work properly ,it's probably me just not finding the right setting ,the problem is that when I click on a thread only the first post comes up then I have to click on each post individually I find this annoying and I am sure there is a way to make it behave like most other forums. I am an all rounder who fishes around three times a week and two times a week in the winter for all sorts of things in all sorts of places recently been after zander and eels in the fens but my local lake 5 minutes walk from the house is a small carp water so that is my test bed water.I am in the process of setting up two fly rods to try fly fishing for various species as well. look forward to reading and participating in the forum.
