  1. I have fished these pits right up until 2007 i cannot say it was the easiest of places to fish a lack of re-stocking is part of the problem, plus the predation issues. In the summer you have to deal with very dense blanket weed plus chocking Lilly pads not recommended until a hefty amount of investment takes place
  2. Lenwade lakes complex is now suffering from the Otter predation problem as is so many other lakes in the area i would make in depth enquiries before committing your hard earned cash on fishing there, such a shame to see a good fishing area ruined by this apex predator.
  3. We used to fish these pits in the late nineties right up to they changed hands at that time you could also fish part of the river for your ticket money but i think it was about £45.00 or so. They had put those floating islands in at least one of them to help protect against the influx of Cormorants it did not seem to make a lot of difference. The carp boys fished mainly the Big Pits before they Weeded over in the summer we concentrated on the smaller pits that were not to badly weeded up mainly for the tench and bream,i did catch some big Rudd.We were told that there were Mink or Otters about, but never saw any we did see some large chewed Tench and a few Carp. The fishing was very hard you had to know your way around that large pit complex, never bothered with the speedboat ski lake it could be noisy.Had a problem with our cars being broken into on a few occasions.
  4. Fished it a few times Not a place for serious carp fishing,a few fish up to about 20lb it is mostly average tench, bream, roach etc, 3 Small lakes with a track running around part of them (was lots of rubbish unfortunately),and it can get a bit noisey, no real cover, geese all over the place, has had a Cormorant problem PLUS Otters!!.NO night fishing due to theft and vandalism NOT PRICEY THOUGH(£4.00. last season i hear prices may have gone up) which is more than you can say for Some places masquerading AS FISHERIES locally. Had a Big problem with yobs and the usual trouble makers in the past. All three lakes are shallow with a few Lilly beds/weed growth generally a hard bottom, water tends to be a little coloured. You do not have to contend with a lot of Stupid rules or Someone sitting on your shoulder it could just do with a bit of discipline and care to improve it.
  5. Do not waste your time or money cannot recommend THAT place!!.
  6. Cant say i would recommend this venue my advice look elsewhere
