I am thinking about going fishing on the river stour for barbel and chub. Where do you usually find them within the river? What sort of bait would you use? I have read on the internet that most people use boilies, but I have never used them, what sort of method would you use as I have never fished for barbel and chub before as I usually float fish on still lakes for carp and rudd. Whats my best chance for success? The reason for this change is that im after a bigger fight when reeling the fish in. as ive seen on catching the impossible when they catch a 7 pound barbel which looked awesome. thanks matt
