OK i got some Monster crab Additive (Don't Do what i Done ) i had heard that if you spry a little of this on maggots it will enhance the attractiveness of them. well i had no device for spraying . so i added neat liquid to the bait tub gave it a good shake closed the lid , all was fine so i put the tub in the boot of the car ,then decided to have a sniff at said liquid i was in the car by then so i opened the bottle had a sniff Geeeeeze (what a PONG) so i put the lid back on then opened the boot decided to put the bottle and the bait tub in the plastic bag they came in tying a knot in the bag to seal in the PONG drove home didn't notice any thing wrong ,got home opened the boot man what a PONG so i took the bag out of the boot put it next to my wheelie bin locked the car thinking that the PONG would dissipate but did it Fek so when i done the weekly shopping i bought a can of Fabreeze almost emptied the lot into the inside of the car ,went into the car about 22.00 it was still Honking . so the moral of this post is don't use this kind of stuff neat , i am hoping that it don't rain tomorrow so i can leave my car windows open all day .

yep there are a few carp in there get down near kirky at the boozer on the canal between Torrance and kirky btw did you know that the Scottish record carp came from the F&C over 34lb , tench in this same stretch and also the union canal from Falkirk down to where it crosses the river almond ,also carp/tench and barbel in the upper reaches of the river Almond (|West Lothian) not Perth.

it's a pity England didn't win! i was planning a trip down south for a weeks carping most of the decent waters would have been very quiet ,i would have had a very good chance of a decent place to go and a very good chance of a nice quiet week without all the usual verbal diarrhea about football , but now that you lot got thrashed that my plans snookered again .

hi there man i don't know about perch taking boilies but the roach certainly do any size from 10mm up-to 18mm boilies at Lanark loch , tench can and have been caught on small 10mm boilies union canal near Winchburgh , so i would think that perch possibly will take boilies especially fish flavored boilies .

Very sad day for all who lived in hope like young kieran who got a mention in the article in the Sun, he has posted on the SGC forum that he hoped to fish yateley in the future he has his name on the waiting list . not to many of the older stock left there now , however there will hopefully be more like here in the future.

well i went down and out of the eight people fishing i was the only one to catch during the 48 hours i was there got 1 the first night /morning Saturday/Sunday 1.30 am 7.8 lb common and 2 on Sunday/Monday between 11.30 pm and 3.45 am 5.5lb and 14.0lb common there was a guy had been down for a week but only got 1 seen a few large mirrors and grassies so i will probably go back down in august

had the camping gaz 1 about 6 years ago the Fokker exploded after it was shut down and the cylinder detached luckily i was about 20 feet away when it went bang , all i got was the offer of a replacement ,and absolutely no explanation after it was sent for examination of why it blew up so i dont use campnig gaz no more there over priced as are there gas cartridges

i see asda are doing the old favorite gas stove in a plastic case for £10. and the gas canisters to go with it 2 packs (4 in a pack) for £10.. not a bad deal considering that most tackle/camping shops are selling just the stove for £15 to £19.99
