    We hold 440 yards of the River Dove at Rocester but its fly fishing....mainly Trout and Grayling with some Salmon chucked in!

    Dovedale posted a topic in Fly Fishing

    Hi All We are lucky enough to own part of the River Dove near Uttoxeter, near Alton Towers and the JCB factory. Its Fly Fishing though so does anyone know of someone who can teach us around here? I guess we could watch if we had some other fishermen who used the river - how many could fish on 440 yards on one bank only? We, or my husband really I guess, should know all this bearing in mind his family has owned it since 1933!! Oh, by the way, its Trout, Salmon and Grayling apparently. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
