  1. thanks for that alan much appreciated can add more preservative to preserve shelf life have one of my first batches from 8 months ago kept reducing amount till got to a month shelf life unfrozen obviously fresh bait is always better. the 8 month old batch is perfectly ok but myself and some other anglers prefer to use fresh bait if i did sell it in a shop it would obviously be the owners choice which he wanted to sell obviously the 8 month shelf life would put less pressure on himwhere as the fresh he would have sell within a month which may put some people off but asi said can offer both alternatives thanks for your ideas alan
  2. if posted on day when made u can freeze it as would be vac packed have had some in freezer for six months no problem if stored in cool dry place about 4 weeks so if not regular fisher could split in two and freeze half a kilo it has mild preservative in but not asmuch as mass produced baits as trying to keep as natural as possible obviously if u in france or hotter climate then shelf life will be reduced
  3. woodzzz cheers for that aricle mate much appreciated gismo
  4. in response to is 125% is a rip off the main firms charge 10+ for boilies not fresh ones they mass produce so buy ingredients buy the bulk so 2.50 kilo sell for 10 300% mark up people still buy it i produce from home so cant produce 100 kilos in 1 hour like they can had 15 field testers took 50kg total750 times cost of bait =£2250 so ineed to sell 750 kilos before i even break even and then my time as well so no not out to rip people off but to offer a cheaper and possibly better alternative to the big companies and the bait is fresh not out for fame fortune but would like some credit if it was due
  5. serious help ,only please have made a new type of boilie bait with one of main ingredients being a pet food derivitive bit like trigga is but have tested it over 6 months with some other local anglers 15 of them on 7 different waters includig 4 in france as well this bait on one rod and other well known baits on other 2 .caught 85%of fish on new bait has 12 ingredients in it. non harmful to fish or lake.all other anglers have improved catch rate and 12 broken their pb on their local water need some to help market and produce. problem being dont want someone ripping of my bait as have spent 6 months and lot of money field testing could sell it for approx £7 a kilo and still make 125% mark up so not out to rip other anglers off thanks gismo

  12. for short periods of time will do the carp not harm but if for subsequent periods of time it is similar to humans if you are upside down blood rushes to your head and u feel dizzy this can prolong the recovery time for the carp when put back in the water so you will need to cradle it for longer to ensure it is okay before releasing or can be belly up the next day also if has been on feeding freny and u are holding it near or close to intestinal tubes can cause small temporary blockage not enough to kill the fish but to put it off feeding for a few days if the carp is older and bigger can affect it for longer periods hope this helps
