by the time these organisations have stopped picking away at the bodies of anglers, we will be left with just our skeletons. is it too much to to ask to be left in peace without interference from these vultures?

another puzzler [to me]. after reading so many depressing statements such as, there are no large cod around our coast and the days of decent cod fishing in our waters has ended. it seems there has been a sudden upsurge in the numbers of cod in double figures and up to 30lb + in weight. my question is, where have they suddenly appeared from. the reports and pictures have been outstanding of late by anglers. but the the reason for the sudden influx poses the question, where have they been.

[ must admit, the reports on the shortage of bass has me totally confused. the numbers of small fish in some areas have been described as being in plague proportions and reports by anglers on the numbers of large bass up towards the 20lb mark have been outstanding. this added to the number who prefer not to report what they catch makes me wonder what the true facts are, and as i've said it has myself and no doubt many other anglers puzzled.
