  1. are intrepid reels worth alot i was woundering because there are pictures of them on here and i have a mitchell intrepid reel

    i know thatthere have been a few posts on this before but it wasn't really what i was looking for i wanted to know if you could use it for float fishing with a rod as others only use a pole because they say it comes off when you cast (how can you make it so it doesn't come off) also i wanted to know what size bit of meat should i use

    what size lead should i be sing on the trent i hear people use about a 3oz lead is that right and should i call it a lead or a ledger as i thought lead weights were banned
  10. i,m hoping to go fishing on the trent this sunday at crankly point i was woundetring if you got any tips on bait also i hear in winter i shouldn't use so much bait as you would normally do should i start to cut down on bait now

    has anyone fished the witham in barnby near the church i fished there today and we only caught a few small gudjeon, i was woundering if there is any bigger fish say about a pound or more if so do you know any good methods to fish it

  21. i started out about a year ago so i don't know much about fishing but i had the same problem but then i saw a similar way in a magazine
  22. do the fish on the trent at bobs island take lucheon meat
  23. this is hard to explain but what i do is get one of the red rod rests from argos and put the spool of line upthe stick to the red bit and then i stick in the ground and push it all the way down so the red bit is touching the spool of line with a bit off pressure (not to much or you won't be able to reel it on) and reel in it should be a little bit hard to reel in but as long as you've got some tension on the line if it still comes off then push the bank stick down a bit harder hope this helps and let me know if it works or not [ 12.
