  18. i fish a lake with all sorts of fish in it (carp, tench, bream, perch, rudd) ranging from just little fish up to 10lb fish and what i normally do is float fish with sweetcorn but the problem is they just head straight for the reeds and i lose the fish and every time i try to stop the fish my 5lb line make that horrible tingling sound and i keep thinking the line will break so i give it line but then it will just head straight for the reeds again what i wanted to ask you was should i just keep the presure or give it line.
  19. when i fished at willow lakes (foston) i mainly use maggots and sweetcorn and with maggots i tend to catch mirror carp around 3-5lb and with sweetcorn i mainly catch common carp (if i catch a carp that is)
  20. i fished a big weedy lake once (pyketts farm) ledgering banana and crayfish boilies but the problem was the lake was covered in weed (another angler said there was about 2ft of weed all around the lake) i didn't catch anything, anyway i was fishing today and was thinking about that lake and then i thought about asking for some advice on anglers net so can anyone shed some light on this
