I'd agree with the up and over rig approach which can give you a much longer snood - something at around 6 foot would probably be best. Also suggest using a plain lead if you can get away with it to nudge the rig back along the bottom a couple of yards to straighten out the snood.

Hi everyone. I received an e-mail via our club website the other day and wondered if any of you had any experience to share on the following:- "I am a Marine Biology Student researching flounder at Newcastle University. Over the last few years there have been reported catches of double sided flounder in the North East , with the flounder having identical pigment on both sides. I am looking into the incidences of these catches and was wondering if there have been any recorded sitings on the south coast." Thanks, Chris
