Hi Folks, not really a new member as I did join some time ago but have spent most of my time on our local site in NE UK ie Nesa.co.uk I fish from the Tyne from my own boat Slinky Kate (Ocqueteau 625 105Hp inboard) fishing ground and wrecks. Waiting here for the season to start, probs easter (ish) is the switch on time. Plan to post a few catch reports this season (copies of those I`ll post on NESA) if thats ok sample of one from last season, hope you like .......   2. hey all, thanks for the replies. Like I said summers coming .............. went out today (Sat 15-5-04 with a couple of mates IanW and TC) left marina at 5.00am and had 3 boxes by 9.30... LOL were catching two cod at a time today, but then, at about 10.00am ..... zilch .. good job we went out early Great fish several 6lbders , 30 cod in total to the 3 of us along with many coalies and pout that went back. (and the company was as good as the weather)

John - Aye it`s approaching that time now, weathers still a bit iffy but it`s light to about 9.30pm so I expect to have a few wind down evenings soon (if you can call pulling in lots of cod a wind down LOL ) Davy - woooo hoooooo what i`d give for the show of mackeral soon ..... had them last year about end of may but then weather turned bad and they never really recovered ...... better luck this year.   6. Hi Davy, Yeah same here, keep threatening to do a bit of shore fishing but can`t keep myself off the boat Great time of year this, watching the nights grow longer, waiting for the mackeral to appear and start off the wrecking season ........ woo hoooo feel good just talking about it
  7. Hi all, Summers on it`s way and with it the wrecking season (or it is up in the north east). Whats the mix on here of shore V boat? where do you all fish from? I recognise a few names here but anyway all the best to all for the season to come.

  10. Hi all , yeah marc , small world ........ LOL just been gettin mesel ready for the coming season had a few days in Barcelona (with the wife of course)...... LOL march, 3 days and I still came home red as a lobster, mind you it was the 2 hour boat trip in the sun and wind that did it ......... still, it`s me undercoat for the summer season sunshine.

    I recognise a number of names here from the NESA site, just dropping a line to say hello ....... and talking of dropping a line ... It won`t be long now before the wrecks start to fill (and then empty LOL) with all that cod and ling ..... see yous out there.
