  1. hi elton,i think you will find that these are only available from prodrive as yet, although the company i work for does do the one before this without the uprights, the one off the 2001 wrc car.check out the web sight at www.rallytech .co.uk
  2. sorry,i'll refrase that,i dont beleive the features are of little importance.they matter in all rivers no matter what species you are after.
  3. hi there,i dont beleive for one minute that the thames is featurless, depth variations, gulleys, etc,?
  4. anyone fished a lake in france called etang le roche?,went a couple of years ago and just wondered how it was fishing.or has anyone fished the new lakes that are there now?
  5. any cheap mixed particle is ok for what you want,as regards feeding it if you get a large bait rocket, block of the top end and cut the bottom off.wrap a strip of lead arround the bottom, this makes geting alot of bait in easier and quicker than a normal dropper[they tend to be quite small],works well for baiting barbel swims anyway
  6. is'nt the whole idea of fishing at night not to recreate daylight  ,a petzel head lamp should be good enough for when you need it
  7. thankyou awaaar, some people should learn to read properly, and how do you know the people chating are not paas members anyway.are you aware phil that the opposite side is day ticket and other clubs on both stretches
  8. i think they have all moved up strem to brockholes  nice to hear its good for dace down there again and encouraging about the barbel.i've just had the 10.04 off three sessions, but nothing else can fit my bait in its mouth .i'll let you know how i get on tonight, nice one
  9. there is a choice of gravel pits to choose from rangeing from 4-20 acres,it is mostly carp fishing but there is a 6 acre mixed lake, the phone number is 01524792093.
  10. come on all you barbel fanatics, hows that wonderful river of ours fishin.what have you all caught this season?
  11. hi rich, what about the wyreside complex at lancaster?
  12. hi rob,i do mean the one by the m6 bridge, but actually right in the grounds of the quarry.when you say elston hall i presume you mean the preston centre controlled stretch.it is pretty good, there are a few good barbel and chub swims all containing fish into double figures.
  13. hi elton,no joy with my searching to.have you tried phoneing the angling times or match fishing magazine, they might be able to help.
  14. any decent boilie mix should be good, take into consideration the temperature of the water when making it,insummer it will soften in water,in winter the opposite, with this in mind you should not have a problem with it staying on
  15. keep plugin away,i did suspect they might be as low down the river as that, you might have to step up your tackle a bit though.i've spent a lot of time at the deeps and the shores arms, had alot of 10 pound plus fish up to 13.07,you could try there if you are after a biggie, its not easy though so dont let a few blanks put you off.really big chub to,although i've not had them myself
