  1. Can anyone help on where to fish for carp in devon/somerset do not want to go to a carp hole/puddle.
  2. I would give it a miss the local`s will be in all the best pegs (it is a very pegy venue) and as its the summer hols you will be pestered by all and sundry. if you go to to local tackle shops they will put you right on some better day ticket waters. Ask them about the gravel pits by morrisons super market eastfield. there is another venue at wykeham this on the the pickering road.
  3. Its upto 47% and only one vote was needed the rest of the field is around 20% and below
  4. As the diamond says there are a few fish around this area but they are hard to find. If you go up stream a few miles to Severn stoke you stand a better chance of catching a few fish and the chance of a double.
  5. You could also try the river hull down near beverley. if you get your ordance survey map out for this area you will see where the river is, you could also try some of the local tackle shopsfor info. [ 25 June 2002, 02:12 PM: Message edited by: Vigiles ]

  9. Hiya try going for a walk in the countryside and pick up crow quills great for making floats. When you have some quills go down to the local model shop and get some Balsa drill hole thru centre and fit to the quill and shape it. Using sand paper.

Another way to do it is to thread the line down from the tip of your rod and attach it to the reel. them throw the spool in the lake and reel the line onto your spool when done retrive the MT spool with your landing net
