  1. Another reason for using a swivel is to prevent line twist. I always use one when trotting fast water. Try retreiving a double maggot from 40m without one and see how much twist has been imparted on your hook-length!!

  3. Gullible Frogs - this rumour as been circulating on the internet for weeks. Checkout any of the Urbanlegends sites - particularly www.snopes2.com which did an excellent rebuttal back in March (Including showing pictures of aircraft debris on the pentagon lawns). Twas also reported by the BBC last week...

  5. Talk is cheap because supply exceeds demand.

Stupidity got us into this mess so why can't it get us out?

Even if your on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

An optimist thinks that this is the best posible world. A pessimist fears this is true.

It's easier to fight for one's principles than to live up to them.

Age doesn't always bring wisdom. Sometimes age comes alone.

Some peoples minds don't just wander - they leave completely.

The nice part about living in a small town is that even when you don't know what your doing, someone else does.

Fairy stories don't start with 'Once upon a time...' They start with 'When I'm elected, I promise to...'
