well these are my first carp rods i have ever owned so i cant really give you loads of info,but the action on them is fantastic,you could bring anything in on them.as for feeling out the bottom you can feel every bump lump hole you can think of.the best thing i like about the intruder is the casting capacity.as i have only carp fished with float rods before,i havent been able to get any distance but with these babies you can realy chuck em out,pva bags and all.reminds me of my beach casters for casting although they all made a nasty cracking sound on their fist cast but have been fine sinse,i guess they just needed breaking in. hope this helps ya sorry if it dont,still a bit of a novice when it comes to carp fishing. all the best chris [ 03. thanks for the info guys but i orderd that setup and i have had a few carp in the last few days, largest being a 15lb mirror and i got to say i am well happy with the tfg intruders.infact happy with the whole lot,mind you,they forgot to send my pod but that should come tomorrow. all the best chrispy

thanks for the info mald.i dont know when but i shall give them all ago at some point.i have heard alot about cudmore from some of the lads at my local water.i had a great day at little mere today it is on the a556 altrincham to northwich road,over the m6 and take the first right at the windmill pub b5391.can get a day ticket on the bank £4.i caught 4 mirror and 3 common today on 7 hour stint going from 4 to 15lb,all caught on popped up corn with a small pva bag of 4mm and 6mm pellet.give the place a try some day? once again thanks for the info chrispy

hi peeps i just started carp fishing the end of last summer and would like to know of some more good carp waters in the manchester area.i have only realy been fishing 2 waters and would like a bit of a change if yo knoe what i mean. the 2 waters i have been fishing are moor rd ponds,baguley and little mere.the last 3 days i have caught 10 carp from 4 1/2 lb to 14lb and also missed 6 runs through helping a mate who has just started.any one in manchester must give little mere ago.the waters are owned by sale moor angling society. all the best chrispy
