you would be very luck to catch a chub in the river hull where you find the chub on the hull is all pirvert fishing ont of the best places to catch chubb near to Scarborough is on the River Seven at Normanby abour 5 miles friom pickering jafter about 6pm on a night when you see the river or should i say very small stream (so small you can step over it) it hat Chub to 5lb Barbel to 8lb Perch to 3lb it is well torth a try DD

about 50-60 miles go throunpickering, kerbymoorside, helmsly, down sutton bank to thirsk then to topcliff good luck

the last i herd the black bull lenth had gone to syindket (spelt wrong) the black bull lenth is also full of big very big bream 10-13lb you can only catch them at night if you can find them you could get well over 150lb of them

Tench you will get from Scarborough mere fish the railway side most tench about 4-5lb Chub you could have probs with that one have a look at Yeadingham near Molton on the Derwent will be your best bet or the river Rye or Seven near Pickering most of the chub are caught in the Swale or Ouse i hope tihs helps call in at GB Angling Barry will help with the chub [ 18 June 2002, 12:55 AM: Message edited by: Darth_codhead ]
