  1. Hi Does it have the Anglersnet.co.uk bit engraved on the back...?
  2. That is interesting - I got into long trotting a few years ago after getting an Adcock Stanton as a gift... I have been using an old Shakespeare Black Mirage Match 12' which I bought new ages ago and it's been my only 'float' rod over the years. I have been reading about using 14' or even 15' rods for long trotting - any recommendations apart from the Harrisons...
  3. Thanks Toerag I just fell in trying that...lol
  4. Thanks Pelyma. Pugs - polorising sunglasses/lenses dramatically cut down on light reflection and glare from reflective surfaces allowing vision through the water surface. HTH
  5. Now that's what I needed - thanks to you all for the info.
  6. Thanks for the advice so far! I'm still in the dark (hoho) as to the reason behind the different coloured lenses - Salar may have hit it on the head suggesting that maybe grey lenses are better in bright sunlight...? Anyone else got an idea? TIA
  7. Hello everyone - I'm new here! I'm looking to get a pair of Polaroids (I should have bought some 15 years ago) and I'm confused about the different coloured lenses. Can someone shed some light (haha) on what the differences are - some have amber, some have grey etc. I've read conflicting advice on this - 'grey are for bright conditions' on one website and on another - 'grey are for overcast conditions'. Help!! TIA
