With braid having such good low diameters can any of you see an application for it in float fishing?

Budge i notice on that post you say the 4 turn grinner is the best knot for the job. what do you think of the uni knot for the same purpose. Its what i currently use you see

Ive never used braid before, and im probably a bit naive to the whole specimen thing but im hoping someone can help me out. Ive really got into lure fishing as of late using wire trace to heavy mono however I want to start using braid. Do I load the reel completely with braid or do i attach the braid to some mono already on the reel? Probably a really daft question but I had to ask someone!

had all the best intentions to go out spinning for pike this morning but after a heavy night last night i think i was kidding myself. new years resolution: less drinking, more fishing...starting tomorrow

Hello chaps, i wonder if I can pick your brains? Im off to Lanzarote in a few weeks and thought that while the Mrs is off sunning herself on the beach I could catch a few hours fishing off the harbour. Im a coarse fisherman at heart so my sea knowledge is pretty crap to say the least but I was thinking about taking my spinning gear over. Is this the right tactic? am i likely to get anything with that? Any help will be greatly received
