they've had the better fish at the back of the airport the biggest fish so far is near 14lb caught last year on lug baits :)and thats right up river plus you get some nice sole there also

i'll be out on friday morning targeting them silver bars with a load of fresh blowlug and blacks

nice headache hooky were starting to get all sorts of new fish species here in the mersey now with better bass showing every year since they cleaned up our waters smoothound,sole,pouting,seatrout,rays,conger eel we used to travel to wales and still do but the fishing on are owen doorsteps gone mad and long may it last me and me mate are to stand trial on the 1st and 2nd of June 2005 to challenge the MDHC over access rights we broke there ban and they've spat there dummy out the pram we've be banned from fishing of nearly all are deep water marks even though we have a act of parliment protecting these rights the 1906 mersey docks and harbour board act section 13 they have kept us of these marks since last july and have spoilt a lot of anglers pleasure over the winter months with a good cod season had by most rods we may get this ban overturned but the MDHB are very powerfull here on merseyside they act like a law unto themselves and me and me mukker are to stand up to them in june if we win it'll be great for all the anglers here on merseyside so here's hopeing cheers stevo Mersey Pirates S.A.C
