Is using a fork as efficient as a bait pump Slashley? As i really can't afford a bait pump at the mo.

You'll be needing a bait pump for collecting Lug Jeff. And there is quite a nak to using it As for Rag, it's knowing where they are, & afaik Rag don't leave any visable marks like Lug.

Well, i fished my spot on the Fowey on saturday afternoon & caught SIX Bass on Lug, but every one was under the legal size limit. Surely there must be bigger fish about if the number of smaller fish is owt to go by? Should i try using a bigger bait than Lug? Any tips for hooking that biggy appreciated!

I can finally announce that i caught my first ever Bass last week on Lug from the river Fowey Under the legal size limit (just) but a mighty fine fish it was
