  1. Hi Jon. Many years ago, in the early days of boilies and special pastes, I used to add Horlicks to paste made from Sausage Rusk. It tasted lovely and it caught tench. Only one problem, I had to rebait regularly because it broke up after 30 minutes or so. Sausage Rusk paste on its own is a good bait and it lasts longer without the Horlicks. Yours, Pete
  2. Hi Paul. What do you include in the East Midlands? You should consider Sywell in Northamptonshire. Sywell is a star amongst tench waters. Yours, Pete
  3. Hi Nathan. Folding triangular landing nets are a doddle. Get yourself a rod tube or drain pipe with a diameter big enought to take the folded landing net. Seal one end of the tube, push the net in, and top up with warm water & detergent. Soak the net overnight, rinse and hang out to dry. Keepnets are even simpler - don't use one. Yours, Pete
  4. Thanks David. I actually logged on this evening to say that I had goofed. The shop that looked after my Mitchells has closed, it was in the same general area so I thought it was the same shop. I guess it would be boring to be right all the time - but I would like to be right once. Yours, Pete
  5. Hi. The Reel Care shop in Southampton has closed and has been for about a year Regards, Pete (My patio is spelt correctly.)
  6. Hi. How to use the Drennan hooktyer was shown in the June issue of Improve Your Coarse Fishing. (The July issue covers the Matchman hooktyer) Regards, Pete [ 21 July 2002, 08:43 PM: Message edited by: Pete Elleray ]
