  3. http://www.anglersnet.co.uk/authors/leon22.htm http://www.chippyjersey.co.uk http://www.digitaljersey.co.uk these are good links
  4. http://www.seafishingsupplies.co.uk/refere...rence_rigs4.php you will find a diagram of the rig there
  5. the record is for bass is about 25lb + i should know i beat it twice last week and forgot to tell every one (LOL) black bream BLACK BREAM feed over rough ground. They enjoy Shellfish which they often prise from the rocks but will also take Sandeels, Lugworm, Ragworm, Squid, Cuttlefish and Mackerel cut into strips. Artificial bait - Baited Mackerel Feathers which are kept moving especially with a short, sharp movement once in a while to attract their attention. Bream take a moving bait more readily than a static one. Fresh bait rig - choose a two to three hook paternoster rig with 25lb mono line as the main body of the rig with a 10-15lb mono hook length. You'll need a weak link to your lead as in the rotten bottom formation and a small hook as the Bream have small mouths. Keep the hook size to a Mustad Aberdeen 3261BLN size 2 to 4 or upto a size 1/O from the boat. If fishing from the shore a bait clip rigged just next to each of the junctions on the rig will allow you to clip the alternate baited hooks to the centre of the rig streamlining your rig for extra casting distance and keeping your bait intact. hope this helps
  6. i have no idea at all never heard of one being caught down here you should post that question as id be intrested in knowing about them as all i can gather about them is there rare as rocking horse s**t
  7. Reasons Why Boats Are Better Than Women Boats only need their fluids changed every year. Boats curves never sag. Boats last longer. Boats don't get pregnant. You can ride a Boat any time of the month. Boats don't have parents. Boats don't whine unless something is really wrong. You can share your Boat with your friends. If your Boat makes too much noise, you can buy a muffler. You only need to get a new belt for your Boat when the old one is really worn. If your Boat smokes, you can do something about it. Boats don't care about how many other Boats you have ridden. When riding, you and your Boat both arrive at the same time. Boats don't care about how many other Boats you have. Boats don't mind if you look at other Boats, or if you buy Boating magazines. If your Boat is misaligned, you don't have to discuss politics to correct it. You can have a beer while riding your Boat. You don't have to be jealous of the guy that works on your Boat. You don't have to deal with priests or blood-tests to register your Boat. You don't have to convince your Boat that you're a Boater and that you think that all Boats are equals. If you say bad things to your Boat, you don't have to apologise before you can ride it again. You can ride a Boat as long as you want and it won't get sore. Your parents don't remain in touch with your old Boat after you dump it. Boats always feel like going for a ride. Boats don't insult you if you are a bad boater. Boats don't care if you are late. You don't have to take a shower before riding your Boat. It's always ok to use tie downs on your Boats. If your Boat doesn't look good, you can paint it or get better parts. You can't get diseases from a Boat you don't know very well. And my personal favorite...... Boats don't mind if you ride them hard all day while drinking beer wirh your buddies, and then fall asleep on top of them.........boats understand their place in life !
  8. alright mate there is a post i started yesterday about this there load of info there the people who posted where more than helpful
  9. something does need to be done but the decrease in the amounts in fish has been goin on for years now and not alot has been done as normal in this country its about money and not doin something until its to late and jeffb is very right there not a jot we could do
  10. if such thing was ever to happen it would never work as you would still get people goin out on boats and netting fish as there is money to made by it. i for one dont think it would make the slightest difference at all having a year out from fishing but if i thought it would work sure its a great idea and i would stop. even if the goverment banned fishing for a year there is to much coast line and water to police the ban.all you have to do is look at fresh water rivers and the amount of people who fish them out of season [ 22.
