  4. do you put your bait inside the ball? how much would you say the feeder weighs fully laden? I was thinkin of using groundbait with sweetcorn and hemp mixed in, would this be any good?
  5. I am wanting to try some method feeder fishing on my carp rods but im unsure on my set up, I have a 2.75lb and a 3lb rod, with 12lb line. What size of method feeder can be used with these? and any suggestions on casting technique? Cheers JPL

  9. Hi guys, sorry I didnt see the new posts that people made, im still looking around for a pole. I watched a few people last night using them and have decided to give it a go for definate. Is there a way you plumb the depth that is similar to the way you would using a normal waggler? Cheers JPL

  11. Funny you should suggest that pole, it is the one that I have actually been looking at. What other things would I need e.g. rollers? etc

  16. Im planning on fishing a reservoir that I have not fished before, ive just been for a good look round and the only thing that concerned me was the lack of any life jackets. When netting a fish it could be quite dangerous as some of the bank side is steep and slippy, the likelyhood of losing your footing is quite hard and its very deep and steep the water infront of the pegs. So I am looking at buying a life jacket, any recommendations to what I should be looking for? Cheers JPL
