    A bright color tube lure (green/red) in my opinion is the best lure for barracuda. I am not sure what the lure is trying to mimic in appearance, but always seems to provoke a strike response from the "Bahamian Kingfish"

    Yes we encountered two hurricaines last year. Katrina and Wilma both hit my area pretty hard. We had just gotten everthing back in order from the 2004 hurricaine season! At least we didn't get it as bad as New Orleans.
