What make and what strenght mainline should i be using for pike up too 30lb. what size hooks should i be using for pike up too 30lb. what strength wire hooklengths(Snap tackle) should i be using for pike up too 30lb.

thanks for the tip i visited my local tackleshop earlier today and bought a set of 3 hangers. Someone told me that 1 rod license only intitles you to use 2 rods. so ivegot to get two rod licences. Before i wanted to specialise in carp i used to fished for an my local adult fishing club as there was no junior club i had to fish with the adults. but i did well coming 3rd in my first year at the club. i have been nightfishing in the past for the bream and tench in my local lake. i also wenting pikeing overnight on occasions. i heard about large carp coming out of the lake regulary so i thouht i wanted to move. i believe that what experience i have gained in fishing so far would help me in moving into carping. as i have been fishing for the past 9 years and on average been fishing 70 days a year. the pool i fish is quite weedy and has quite a few snags. the larger fish in the pool are around 30lb. what breaking strain line should i use and do you think i should clear Diawa sensor or normal Diawa Sensor. there are a mumber of catfish in the lake i fish and a lot of carp anglers are having trouble with them as they are breaking the line and leaving it all frayed because of there grinding teeth what could i use to counter this problem.

im 15 and last year i decided to start carp fishing. today ive finally got all i need to fish. ive got 3 2xl carp rods ,3 2xl carp reels, fox A pod, prologic batman bite alarm set , 3 rod butts, unhooking mat, weighing sling, digital scales, jrc bedchair and sleeping bag, bivvy, i got other essentials (hooks,boilie drill ,etc), items for coooking, bait, headlamps and net. i need some help choosing my mainline and hooklength. for mainline i was going to buy some 15lb camo soft steel. im unshore what i should use for hooklenghts. what do you think? i was wandering what else i also may need any pointers on what i should get?
