Oh sorry i mean carbon surf kayak. I've got a riot boogie i surf at the moment (mainly at kimmeridge). The riot is plastic and rather heavy (& is slow when compared to a carbon boat). Basically instead of normal fibre glass with resin, its made with carbon / kevlar mat with resin, very light and very fast on a wave) If your still intrigued vist the Mega kayaks website + if your interested in a riot boogie its still for sale! & if you just wondered what the hell a carbon boat, i meant carbon kayak. cheers

I've been off chesil beach a couple of times this summer, there is an outfall buoy about 7 cables off the chesil bank and fleet car park (half way along the causeway to Portland) which i tied up to for a few hours fishing. It was 2 hours before low water the first time and we caught 5 dog fish (nothing special i know - but i caught 2 seagulls on the way out!! (first for me)- safely released i can assure you) . I tried the same spot at high water the week later and didn't catch anything. Chesil is great in the right conditions, but getting your gear back up the beach is shattering. In any sort of westerly swell / wind steer clear, as it won't look pretty & with the evil shore dump and undertow, you'll struggle to get back in.

Hi I'm selling my blue Scupper Pro sit on kayak (good condition) Based weymouth I bought it before xmas and rigged it for a spot of fishing or general use at the beach. Kayak:- 15ft, with bow hatch and stern well. Comes with:-* Back rest * Carbon shaft splits paddle * Full length heavy duty bag (so it could be stored outside and not get damaged by the UV rays + weathering) Fishing bits: - * Fish finder eagle 128 on scotty mount * Rod holder (next to fish finder - forward of paddler) * Rear well box with 4 tubes for holding rod + trawling spinners etc) * Anchor + line I'm open to sensible offers, selling as i'm not getting the use out of it (used 4 times for fishing) + to fund a carbon surf boat.
