Supeb, Love fishing off the top. Anyone Actually ever caught off the surface in the winter months? Im not sure why but I get the impression the bigger the carp the more likely they'll take a bait from the surface in the winter.

Hey Budley, Have you tried using bigger baits? Bream will sometimes take a small boilie. They love groundbait too. If these are banned you could try fake baits like corn, Smaller fish usually wont take these. There seems to be an echo in here, lol

Hey all, Great forum you have here. This is my first of many posts hopefully. I wondered if anyone could help me with buying a couple of new rods. I hope to be doing some method feeder fishing for carp to over 30lb but am unsure of the test curve my rods need to have. I was thinking about 3lb but am unsure if this would do the job.
