Off to selby 3 lakes on thursday for the first time.I just want to know what works best spoding out large amounts of feed or simple bag work.Its only a 24 hour session.

I am buying 3 new carp rods i have decided to go for the fox warrior xt or the chub out cast.You see they both have exclent reveiws and i cant decide which one to buy.So can the members of this site help me decide which to buy.

I have never seen a carp been caught well i have been there.I have only ever seen 1 carp swrile.The water is 1.5 acre.Ive tried all sorts of rigs bolt rigs,inline leads,method feeders.Ive tried meat corn pellet bollie maggots ,worms.peperrami.The water has a lot of natural bait in it.I think the bait is being dragged into the silt by the lead.

I have been fishing a local water and have fished it 5 times now i have tried all sorts of baits and rigs but cant get a bite.Can any other anglers help me with anything like baits and rigs what may get me a bite on a the water it isnt realy a pressured water by other carp anglers mainly people float fishing for roach and perch.There are around 15 to 20 carp in the water.The water is extremly siltly and i was thinking.How does the weather effect the carps feeding pattern.And do carp feed better in low or high pressure and maybe i could catch one with a little help

Just got anglers mail and seen the "Shimano RE 8000 baitrunner" for £49.99. Might get 3 of them.Do any members of the sight use the reel if so are you happy with it. And are they worth the money.

Please can you advise me on a good carp reel under £50.00

Getting 3 new carp rods and i have chossen to buy three greys prodigy from trevs tackle and they come with a free reel "Diawa opus 4500" but you see i have never herad of it.is the reel a bait runner or a big pit and is it any good

What am i best of pre baiting with dont want to be spending a lot.

I am Thinking of pre baiting on my local canal. And was wondering what baits are best to pre bait on a canal for carp.i am going to pre bait for a week and hopefully the bigger fish will have moved in on the bait .Is this true that the bigger fish will move in on to the feed.

I am buying some new bite alarms and want to know if bite alarms wake u up when there used on there own without a sounder box. SO DO BITE ALARMS WAKE YOU UP

I havent been night fishing before and am going to start this summer with dad.Ive only fished into dark.But i was thinking do bite alarms wake you up when you are asleep or is a sounder box better as it will be right next to you and wake you up. HELP please i do want to wake up to find my rods not there.

I was reading advanced pole fishing(april 06 ) And i am looking for a new pole roost.The articel on steve ringer had a picture of him and i saw his pole roost can any members tell me which make it is as i dont have a clew.

Ive just recentley broken my lantern and need to buy a new one.Which lanterns are best the battery powed ones or a gas one.My old one was a battery powed one.I want it to be very bright and durable.
