I know of a pond that has been stocked with carp. I have noticed that other fishermen are using waggler method and maggot to try and catch these but i have never seen them catch anything. Any suggestions as to what i can do and what i need to have the chance of catching these beautiful fish?

im in Scotland. The pole is made by Browning its only been used a few times. It about a month old.

Thanks for the advice. Still dont know what to do though. The section is not snapped just a few cracks in the middle. Dont really have the cash to buy new sections.

Can pole sections be repaired if they get broken? If so how do you do it? The third section of my pole got damaged after it was stood on by a passerby.
