  1. Veggie oil. Most engines will take it if properly converted
  2. Owen Wooley, also a chacter called " Black Jack". There is a blast from the past. Last time I heard of OW he was advertising in Sea Angler to punters who would take him out on fishing trips in exchange for his area fishing knowledge. Argonaut was his boat and he was the first angler I saw catching double figure Bass on scad bait. Was Black Jack a skipper named Weitzel. I remember a chap called Kevin Benham
  3. Have you heard how these boats handle rough weather
  4. Not allowed to PM at present. I will pm you when I am allowed Regards: Tony
  5. Are there many caught on rod and line in Britain these days?.
  6. Barracuda and Bonefish-if these are there,it has to be true about a Great White stalking Grey Mullet in Bradwell Marina. I heard the commercial boys caught a couple of young Threshers in the nets last year
  7. Apart from the usual suspects(Cod/Whiting/Dab /Flounder/T.and S rays/Smoothies/Tope/Dogfish/Eel/Sole) Ie Are there any Turbot?, considering the shore caught record is from Dunwich just north of the border. Anybody caught an anglerfish lately?
  8. Ditto that. I use to fish the Tollesbury Creeks. I went out on a trawler from there a few times. The size of the flatfish that were pulled up in the net was an eye opener-huge b...... Hopefully next year I will have a Teal22 or Wilson23 to fish off the coast. I would like to fish the creeks for the eels and then go out and find bigger prey later that day.
  9. Hi Anybody know what the eel situation is these days in the Essex creeks. Are they getting sparse or are they thriving.
  10. Hi Anybody know where I can get these replaced(essex area).
  11. Hi It would be just to a mooring for the summer months. How do Shetlands handle in a rough sea?.
