I prefer crimping only because I can never tie a trace without leaving a long tag, no matter how close you cut the tag it allways seems to catch on the braid I use. As for wire I use Fox 7 strand easy twist and just whatever crimps I can find in the tackle shop. I also cant seem to find long enough ready made snap tackle. I like mines to be around 750mm long.

Hi, I would just like to Introduce myself. I'm 24 years old from Fife in Scotland and I've been fishing for Pike for around 5 years with my PB weighing in at 18LB. I usually fish Loch Awe, Lomond, Arkaig and a few small waters here in Fife. Anyone other Scottish Pikers here?

I usually carry a bar towel like you get in the pub and dont laugh but I allways have baby wipes in my tackle bag.
