Happy New Year

Forget the eat less, smoke less twoddle. Use the New Year resolution to set an aspiration.

Where do you want to fish (lets just stick to the UK to keep the cost down shall we? ) and why?

I want to try some venues closer to home, well not so much closer to home but I'm determined to try and catch some decent fish from some urban venues...ie: canals, little streams, the Clyde etc. I'm sure many of these venues are simply overlooked because they're, well, urban and the general view of such places is "there's no fish in there!!" and I'd just like to catch some nice fish from somewhere surprising. I know I can catch good fish if I travel 70 miles but I'd like to try and catch and some good fish from some less than obvious venues. It might be a fruitless experiment but I may just surprise myself.

Don't you think that would be good to pull a lunker from a grubby little stink-hole?
