Which closed face reel should I go for? :confused:

if you've not had one before then the 1044 is a

brilliant reel to be starting with,it has a spool

lock(makes it easier to change spools etc)and has

a switchable anti-reverse and syncrodrag.they're

a good size and the rim is easerly reached with a

index finger .

Abu 501 got to be the star of the closed faced reels.

I've just got myself another after my original one i bought when i was 15 got nicked.I forgot how compact and light they are.Igot it off ebay for 32quid as new with three spools,just keep lookin on there and you'll get fixed up.

Greatest reel of all time.IMO that is.
