8lb Bass from the Thames (gravesend)

Yesterday morning, my dad was at work and his co-worker said to him that just as i was going to work his neighbour gave him an 8lb bass from the sea school stretch of the River Thames. From a muddy river and from the shore, this is an amazing fish.

I've heard of the odd one or two bass being caught from there. They catch some nice soles there too.

Matt I have caught bass from the Thames as far up River as Erith and know of some areas allong that stretch that are considerd Hot spots I specificly target bass in these areas now I would be a lier if I said that the sport was fast and furious, But I catch a respectable amount and its the highly coulerd water that allows you to catch in broad day light rather than dusk and dawn The worst problem as you get closer to london are Bloody shopping trolleys in the river they are tackle magnets. allso have got to agree about the sole fishing at Gravesend spot on.
