Braid .....Advice.

With the river's close season nearly upon us, i will be back on the local lake.

In the local lake there is a mid twenty and lot's of double's.

The lake is oval with 40 pegs, with 4 area's of lilly pad's, but apart from that snag free.

Knowing this would you use 25lb main line or less.

PowerPro in 30lb if you intend fishing in the pads or 20lb elsewhere.

20lb spiderwire will cut through the pads no problems.

I will carry on with 15lb braid,that i have got on the reels, to save money.
