Anyone tried or seen the new Ron Thompson Quattro alarms? The ones with the remote receiver, and all for £79.99!!!!!

with Ron Thompson you know your gonna get quality, it might not be a well known name but the guy produces some fine items of tackle :D

 

his rods are pretty decent too :D i believe he isnt actually called Ron Thompson some firm in Sweden decided they wanted a 'different name' :D

For the price id say u cant go wrong but do u realy need the reciver ? and are they encapsulated EG: will they still work once you have dropped them in the lake ? ive used the fox alarms for years and had no trouble and ive used em in all weathers with no probs
