i have just purchased an electric outboard and a garmin 140 and have fitted the transducer to the bottom of the motor casing ,as was recommended by a few people on here . it worked superbly but i have now also purchased a 4 stroke 4hp mariner and so what im wondering is should i move the transducer or is it suitable to leave the electric outboard in the down position while motoring with the petrol or will the electric's prop being in the water cause problems
