I've never had a problem with Duolocks myself, including the small 20lb b.s. size on which I've landed several pike over 20lbs. On the largest lures I used to use the 85lb b.s. size, but will probably go for the 50lb size on the next such traces I make up. My most used size is the 40lb.

I'm told though that there are some cheap copies around and this may be cause of the problem.
