chick peas and maize

first of all where can i get both of these? and secondly can you give me instructions on how to prepare them and and how to fish them?

Chickpeas are readily available from your local Asian Grocer at a price considerably below that of the bait companies look out for Chana Dahl or Garbanzos.

Soak the chick peas over night and boil for twenty minutes or so in a pressure cooker until they are soft enough to pass a baiting needle through.

Alternatively by tinned chick peas at your local supermarket, they are ready to use but are a more expensive option.

Chick peas also take a colour quite nicely red or orange being my favourite, I have only ever used them in Spain though and I have never used maize.

supermarkets etc for chick peas and farm whole sale shops for maize 25kg for 3-4 squid.
